Neighborhood Watch - National Night Out

Please Join The Sacramento Police Department in giving a farewell party to CRIME!

Neighborhoods nationwide are invited to organize a crime and drug prevention event. Please help us heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support in local anticrime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships and send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are fighting back!

On the night of Tuesday, August 7, 2007, neighborhoods throughout the nation are joining together for the “24th Annual National Night Out” crime prevention event. From 6pm – 10pm many neighborhoods throughout the Sacramento region will host block parties, cookouts, ice cream socials, bicycle rodeos, parades, flashlight walks, youth activities and etc.

Lock your doors, turn on your outside lights and spend the evening outdoors with your neighbors, police and city staff.
